Couponing for Charity?

Hey!

Last night I was pretty bored, so I decided to run to Target to take advantage of the sales that were ending.

While I was walking around the aisles, I realized I didn't truly need the items I was buying. It occurred to me that I could donate the merchandise to those who really needed it! Couponing is fun; but couponing to make a contribution is even better.

One charity that really helped my family out after my birth was Ronald McDonald House. They were so kind, caring, and compassionate about our situation, and we are so grateful for their contribution. I believe anyone could coupon for some of their favorite charities, homeless, or domestic violence shelters. It really is so easy and fun!

It was a successful trip, and I ended up paying $4.19 for these items (plus some Van's frozen waffles I threw in my freezer):

Some of the offers and coupons have expired for these items, but there are still some available on Target's website.

  • Up&Up Paper Towels
    • Use (2) $0.50/1 Target Paper Item coupon found here
  • Edge/Skintimate Shave Cream-
    • Use (1) $1/1 Target Coupon found here.
    • Use (1) $1/1 Manufacturer Coupon found in Smartsource.
    • Use (1) $1/1 BOGO coupon found here.
    • Use 10% off Edge/Skintimate Shave Cream on Cartwheel.
    • And use Ibotta to earn $0.50 cash back for purchasing the item!
There are also many other up & up item coupons that can be printed to score big!

Sprouts Grand Opening!

Hello!

I finally have internet again, and I'm excited to talk about the grand opening of Sprouts Copperfield. I went to the "soft" opening Tuesday night, and had the pleasure of picking up some items on super sale.

The weekly sales ad is different from other locations because of the grand opening, and I'd suggest if you're in West Houston to make a stop by!

Here are some pages from the ad:

These are some super good savings!
I managed to pick up some Kashi cereal, Alexia Fries, and Van's Waffles for under a dollar!

This location is having a line drive on Kashi cereals for $2.39!
-Check out this $1/1 Kashi Go Lean Crunch Coupon here.
-Then print this Sprouts $1/1 Kashi Go Lean Crunch Coupon here.
Final Price: .39cents each

Another great deal is the sale for 2/$3 Van's Waffles!
Head over to Hip2Save's website to find out how to get two boxes of waffles for FREE!

Alexia Sweet Potato fries are also on sale at this location. 2/$3! This price is such a steal because these fries are normally priced at $3 for one bag.
-Print out (2) $1/1 coupons here.
-Combine with (2) $1/1 coupons here.
Final Price: FREE

I have been waiting for the Copperfield location to open since the first Sprouts opened in Katy. Definitely a great store, and I cannot wait to go back to stock up on some more items on Saturday.

Be sure to check Sprouts out on Saturday because there is more fun happening at the Copperfield location.

Mineral Max=Mineral Rich Review

About two weeks ago I ordered Mineral Max, which is Swanson Vitamins knockoff version of Mineral Rich. I just couldn't bring myself to pay $24 plus shipping for a 32oz bottle of Mineral Rich!

Anyway, these two items have the same exact nutritional value, but have different "other ingredients" as you can see below.

Mineral Max:

Mineral Rich:

Since I've been taking Mineral Max, I have felt so much more energized. It's only been about a week, so I am going to continue to take this to see if I feel like Super Woman after continuous use. Although this may not be the crunchiest item out, I have a serious vitamin b-12/iron deficiency and needed help fast. Regular old vitamins in pill form were not working, and I needed an extra boost.

I will continue to update as I take this, and will talk about any positive or negatives I experience while taking Mineral Max.

If you'd like to try it out as well, click this referral link below to get $5 off of your purchase. You can also use the code: WELCOME3 with your $5 to get 10% off.

One Heck of a Year

So, this year has definitely been busy. My little baby is 10 months old now and I've been running around after him all day. Mostly trying to keep him entertained. We're also building a house and are overwhelmed with moving, packing, and buying things for the new home. We also cut off our internet and cable to save money, and have used that saved cash to contribute to our moving budget. It's been different.

Needless to say, my energy levels are down the drain. I discovered I was anemic while I was pregnant---which actually wasn't a surprise to me. Although they say my levels are up, they're still only around 11.0 gram/100. I'm going to try to look into some natural ways to help out my iron levels, but for now I have ordered this product from Swanson Vitamins called Mineral Max.

Mineral Max is a $13 cheaper version of Mineral Rich and has the same exact ingredients. It hasn't come in the mail yet, but I am hoping it comes within the next few days. I will come back to update the world wide web on how it works out for me. It's only $9.99 and can only be ordered at swansonvitamins.com

If you're like me and need a pick me up, you can order it using this referral link to get $5 off your first order. Enjoy!
